Standard 4 Morals in Education EDU 6085 Meta Reflection

Posted by: cummia on: May 29, 2010

This course taught me a great deal about morals in education.  I found that you don’t necessarily have to keep all religion and questionable things out of the curriculum. Some areas I am always concerned about pushing the envelope and my students are really missing out.  This course helped me to better understand exactly how to teach it.  The religious part of my paper made me really think of my own personal religious beliefs and how they fit into the classroom.  I found a lot of correlations between the two.  So this course was not only a career growing experience it was also a personal growing experience.  I looked deeper into my faith then I ever have before and really enjoyed the insightful information the readings had to deeper the connection between classroom and personal ideas and believes.
